Effective, January 1, 2026, all required modules and manufacturer training will remain mandatory. In addition, contractors will be required to self-attest that at least 30% of their installing technicians have completed the required training. Equipment must be a new system and installed in an existing residential single-family home or multi-family property with each unit on a ComED residential rate class. New additions and new construction are eligible single-family homes.

Equipment must have an AHRI certificate, purchased from Daikin Comfort Technologies, and meet the minimum efficiency levels.

Incentive claims must be entered into EGIA’s portal within 45 days of installation completion.

ComEd customers in the following towns are not eligible: Batavia, Geneva, Naperville, Rochelle, Rock Falls, St. Charles, and Winnetka.
